Studying in Thailand

"One of the luxuries afforded by travel is the opportunity to lose ourselves, at least temporarily, only to find ourselves anew. One person is left behind, while another person begins to emerge out of one thousand and one things in a different light and experienced from a different angle."
-Richard Slimbach

Yesterday, after sleeping in and doing laundry we went to class from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. The Thai students joined us for part of the discussion and we had a really great talk about music therapy around the world and becoming transcultural. In the middle of our class however, a huge water monitor came up by the window! Only when you have class in Thailand do giant lizards interrupt.
After class a group of us went to go get pedicures. A beauty salon is just across the street from the international college at Mahidol so we took a little walk.
Me and Rayna getting our toes painted.
Sometimes I wish I could read Thai. This article looked interesting!
Dinner was at our favorite Omelet stand outside of Bundit Place. 35 THB ($1) for two eggs with three mix-ins on top of rice. And it is Aroi! (delicious)
